2019 here comes the Boar

Welcome to 2019. 2018 was mix of shit show and fabulousness in my life. So what's the T. The truth is really you have to move forward and create that positive outlook in life. Plot what your next move is for the incoming year.

What's up 2019?

Move forward and have that positive outlook.

It isn't going to be easy. Life can be tough but you have the make the most of it. It doesn't matter whether the feng shui is saying that it is your year. It is about planning and strategizing. I hope to practice what I preach and be the best person that I can be everyday this year.

Plans

I have plans in 2019. I hope to be able to do them:

- Learn how to play the guitar. Instead of me continuing to buy more lipsticks I should invest in learning how to play the guitar. I can sing so playing an instrument makes sense.

- Continue learning French. I think I am pretty good with learning a language and French is hard. I know it is. The conjugation is a pain to be honest but it takes practice, so hopefully this year I would love to be able to at least do basic conversation.

-Finish my CHE designation. It is just one of the credentials that I wanted to finish. I still believe that the more skills and credentials you have the more marketable you are in job market.

-Volunteer more. Part of happiness is also being to give more. Volunteering is a great example because there are studies out there that giving back to the community not only lessens stress but also makes you more grateful. So, it is a win, really.

-Practice mindfulness. This has been coming mainstream. People have been appreciating the power of now; the ability to take charge of what is happening in the moment and making sure that you are able to practice being present. Tomorrow is its own worry.

-Sing more. I have been putting my singing at the backseat and I don't want to waste it. Every chance I get to sing, I will grab it whether it is at work and jamming with the volunteer piano player or in church.

Hopeful 2019

I am really hopeful that this year would be amazing and full of learning. There is always that anxiety and trepidations with the coming year, it is normal; it is the unknown. I will try to be the best person that I can be for myself, for others and be an inspiration. So, just like what RuPaul say, "Don't fuck it up." I will try that one, too :-)
