It is Thanksgiving Day, and there many things to be thankful for. I have a lot on my list that's for sure.
This year started differently with the talks of opening the border and less restrictions due to the pandemic. I know everyone is very excited about the possibilities. There were definitely road blocks along the way, and look at us. Border restrictions lifted even for the unvaccinated, and ArriveCAN is definitely got canned. We are having in person celebrations with family, and there are no limits with the people allowed to come in one household. In fact, we can do multiple visits.I hope everyone got their hugs from their loved ones and family.I sure got mine.
I am grateful for my family who have always been my guiding light with all the struggles that I had in the last year. They have provided me with love, strength and kindness.I sure will be unable to overcome those without my sounding board. Truly grateful to have them and to know we remain solid despite not having our parents around.Part of my family is Ross, and I am so appreciative of your love and support.
My friends, I am super grateful to have them in my life. They have been very supportive of all my endeavours and quirkiness. This girl will never be the same. The laughter and tears are evidence that I have friends that I cherish.I wanted to acknowledge also the loss of friendship.Friendships, I have let go, having a break and trying to let go. It happens. It is not with the lack of enthusiasm to connect but the lack of connection. This is very complicated.I am still thankful for the friendship and time I had with them.On the other hand, I am blessed to be part of someone's lives and create that connection every time. Let us continue to laugh and be present with each other's lives. I know I need to put a lot of effort as well.

My health, nature, work and breaks (time off) are so important nowadays. The time passes so quickly. I have missed some sunny days this summer from working too much.COVID has hit me twice, butI am still here. You are not going to break me.I know I needed to find that balance, ensuring that I am not working too much and feeling rundown. Also inserting those times where I can stretch and smell the roses.
Lastly, thank yourself. All the hustles you have been doing and struggles you overcame. You deserve happiness and know that you are enough. I have a lot on my gratitude list, what is on your list? Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
